This film tells the history of Mauritian musical instruments, particularly those that are no longer in frequent use due to marginalization and discrimination through interviews with Marclaine Antoine. By re-valorizing these objects and recounting their significance, this film strives to preserve forms of the cultural heritage in Mauritius.

This film was produced for Valer Nou Kiltir, (Valorize Our Culture), the 2012 version of the local musical festival, Festival Enn. It screened at the Institut Français du Maurice before Marclaine Antoine and others performed, taking the opportunity to educate the public on the music they were about to hear. In 2015, this piece was also screened at Île Courts-International Short Film Festival in the rural areas of Mauritius with their mobile cinema unit.
